Whats the Kraft Heinz Summer BBQ Contest?
From May 1, 2025 to August 13, 2025, Kraft Heinz, in partnership with Sobeys Capital Incorporated, invites you to join their Summer BBQ Contest for a chance to win Scene plus points perfect for treating yourself to more of your favorite groceries and summer essentials!
Who Can Enter?
If youre a legal resident of Canada, living in any province including Québec, and have a valid Scene plus account, youre eligible! Just make sure youve reached the age of majority in your province on the day you enter.
Note: Employees of the contest organizers and their immediate family members are not eligible.
How Can You Enter?
There are two easy ways to enter!
1. No Purchase Necessary
Dont want to buy anything? No worries!
Simply visit any Sobeys, Safeway, or IGA Québec store, present your Scene plus card at the customer service desk, and ask for a no purchase entry scan during the contest period. Youll get an entry without spending a dime!
2. Enter with Purchase
Want to boost your chances to win?
Buy $15 or more (before tax) worth of participating Kraft Heinz products from Sobeys, Safeway, or IGA Québec and swipe your Scene plus card at checkout to earn one entry for every $15 spent. Buy more, enter more its that simple!
What Can You Win?
There are 50 prizes available nationwide, split evenly across regions and store brands:
- Sobeys in Ontario: 10 prizes
- Sobeys in the West: 10 prizes
- Safeway: 10 prizes
- Sobeys in Atlantic Provinces: 10 prizes
- IGA Québec: 10 prizes
Each prize is 100000 Scene plus points a value of approximately $1000 CAD each! Imagine the BBQ parties and groceries you can enjoy with points like that.
Which Products Qualify?
From mayo to BBQ sauces, dressings to cheese slices, the list is extensive (check out the full Appendix A). Your shopping cart packed with Kraft Miracle Whip, Heinz Ketchup, Bullseye BBQ sauce, Kraft Singles cheese slices, and more will earn you entries automatically.
When Are Winners Chosen?
The lucky winners will be randomly drawn on August 28, 2025. Winners will be contacted using the info tied to their Scene plus account, and must answer a skill testing question to claim their prize.

- You can win only once, so the prize goes around fairly.
- Prizes are non transferable and have no cash equivalent.
- The contest is subject to all applicable laws and rules detailed by the Sponsor and Administrator.
